LUCIE JONES RECORDS AND MIXES LIVE ALBUM WITH SPIRITLAND PRODUCTIONS
Spiritland Productions were thrilled to work with one of the West End’s leading ladies Lucie Jones (X Factor, Eurovision, Les Mis, Waitress, Legally Blonde & Wicked), accompanied by the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, to produce her debut live album ‘Lucie Jones Live At The Adelphi.’
We worked closely with the Adelphi Theatre and PA provider Autograph to ensure the best possible capture on the night using our fully redundant MADI derig recording kit, Digico SD Preamps, an SD7T and the best possible microphones from Neumann, DPA and AKG.
A Schoeps audience array was provided by Spiritland Productions and Lucie’s vocal was handled by a DPA 2028 capsule with Shure Axient RF.
Multitracks were then transferred to SpiritlandONE and over two days, Freddie Tapner (Conductor, LMTO) and Lucie made final edit decisions before Senior Sound Supervisor Rich Andrews mixed the final tracks on our SSL System T S500 utilising outboard Bricasti and Lexicon reverb with monitoring courtesy of our Barefoot MicroMain27 loudspeakers.
Final mastering was also handled by Spiritland Productions with a Red Book Standard 44.1 master supplied as well as separate ‘Mastered for iTunes’ files.
