Broadcast Mix for The Smile
DRIIFT CHOOSE SPIRITLANDONE TO BROADCAST THREE LIVE GIGS WITH THE SMILE.
Driift chose Spiritland Productions and SpiritlandONE to ensure the best broadcast mix for The Smile’s debut live gigs, streamed across the globe to three different time zones.
The Smile, a trio made up of Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, alongside the jazz drummer Tom Skinner, performed in the round live, at Magazine London, for three consecutive livestreams, first at 8PM on Saturday for Europe, at 1am on Sunday morning for Central America and 11am on Sunday morning for Asia.
Sam Petts-Davies, the Broadcast Producer for the shows, was on board SpiritlandONE throughout the live streams.
A Riedel comms systems including Bolero was also rolled out to the entire production team including producers Driift, facilities providers ProCam Take Two and Luna Remote Systems and platform hosts Dreamstage.
All three gigs are available to watch on demand for the next 30 days.
