BBC World Service Commissions Special Episode On Williams F1 Racing

Spiritland Productions delivered a 30 minute special episode for ‘In The Studio’ which aired on the BBC World Service and BBC Sounds.

Presented by Jodie Kidd, ‘Start Your Engines’ took a behind the scenes look at one of the world’s most iconic Formula 1 teams; Williams F1. 

Over three separate visits to their Oxfordshire factory, Jodie met British driver George Russell, Ops Director James Colgate and Head of Vehicle Performance Dave Robson to discover what it takes to keep an F1 car on track and delivering week after week. 

With a focus on the development of the car’s barge board across the first half the 2021 season, Jodie brought to life the multiple design, engineering and manufacturing sections of the factory and revealed the level of input drivers like George have in the development of the car.
