Trevor Nelson’s Soul Christmas 2024

In December, we returned to London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall with DJ Trevor Nelson for Soul Christmas. Another huge production, the concert featured an all-star line-up of incredible vocalists, including Kimberley Davis, Kathy Sledge, Kenny Thomas and Tony Momrelle, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra under the masterful direction of conductor Troy Miller — followed by a full DJ set by Trevor Nelson.

Our Head of Production Joe Haddow once again produced the subsequent BBC Radio 2 Show, featuring a broadcast of the full concert, captured and mixed by our Broadcast team, as well as Trevor Nelson in conversation with Kathy Sledge — on soul, sisterhood and Christmas with Quincy Jones!
