Broadcast
Elton John + Brandi Carlile At The London Palladium
Spiritland Productions was asked to provide full audio & video facilities for An Evening With Elton John and Brandi Carlile — an electrifying one-off concert special held at The London Palladium, broadcast on CBS & ITV in April 2025, and now available to stream on both platforms.
Produced by Fulwell Productions and directed by Liz Clare, the show featured exclusive live performances from the artists’ new #1 collaborative album, ‘Who Believes in Angels?’ alongside Elton classics, and an interview hosted by Dan Levy.
We delivered comprehensive audio recording, production comms, technical project management, and full video facilities. As always, we brought together a stellar team, and the latest in cutting-edge technology, including a UK broadcast first — the highest number of Sony Venice 2 cameras ever used in a multi-cam production.

CAPTURING THE MAGIC
Every camera was meticulously built and fully tested — from cam racers to SMPTE fiber systems — at our brand-new production warehouse, ahead of the event. Thanks to our close proximity to ProLink, we were able to seamlessly link Spiritland ONE, our state-of-the-art audio OB truck, with OB3, ProLink’s video truck.
In the lead-up to the show, our audio team installed a Pro Tools HDX2 rig with dual HDMADI at London’s Metropolis Studios to capture rehearsal recordings. On the day of the performance, we took Spiritland ONE to the London Palladium, where we recorded and mixed the show using 128 preamps, dual MADI feeds recorded in triplicate, and 24 audience microphones — delivering pristine sound for both broadcast and streaming.
We also supplied a comprehensive Riedel production comms system, including 60 Bolero packs plus panels, an Artist 1024 frame, and an RTS Odin — providing seamless site-wide coverage. Meanwhile, our technical crew ensured optimal audience engagement by distributing viewing screens throughout the venue.
Within just 12 hours, the complete line-cut, Avid sequence, and fully mixed audio were delivered — ready for post-production and broadcast.
Producing an event of this scale takes a true team effort, with special mentions to DOP Rob Mansfield, Dobson Sound, ProLink, Livewhire, & Dan Greenway — and our fantastic team! Both the live show and the broadcast show have received exceptional critical acclaim.
