Bombay Bicycle Club: 4K Capture and 5.1 Atmos Record for OnAir Streaming
OnAir Events and Bombay Bicycle Club choose Spiritland Productions to deliver a UHD HDR capture and full multitrack audio mix of their 2024 summer show at Alexandra Palace.
Delivering memorable experiences to music fans worldwide and priding themselves on their Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos delivery formats, we’ve been happy to partner with OnAir for many years.
Spiritland ONE, our audio outside broadcast truck, managed the tv production comms required for camera operators, assistants, sound engineers and producers as well as the full band multitrack, mixed live on the night by Senior Music Sound Supervisor and Co-Founding Director Gareth Isles.
Spiritland TWO, our UHD HDR OB truck, provided the gallery space for Director Nick Minns to view all 9 cameras. It was also home to vision engineering and PTZ operation, with a full vision mixer log file providing the HDR files for a quick edit turnaround.
A total of 8 sony FX9s with Canon Cinematic glass were used as well as four Sony FR7 PTZs – all recording 2160p25 in camera. These include a wireless Steadicam and high wide shot and jib at front of house, as well as an autopod PTZ column for dynamic shots behind the drummer.
The full concert stream is available via the OnAir website.
