SSL S400 Mixing 'Building The Band'
Video Flypack for 'Traitors Uncloaked' Podcast
Broadcast Audio and Video Flypacks
Spiritland Productions brings the studio to you with our video and audio flypack solutions. Not all projects require the capabilities of an Outside Broadcast vehicle — our flypack facilities allow for filming and recording of shows at the same quality, de-rigged inside a venue.
The same engineers, the same experience — making your space work for you.
Broadcast Audio Flypack
We have a range of audio flypack options available including the recently added SSL T-series S400 Dual Processor console. This addition makes us the only broadcast facility in the UK able to offer two, fully redundant consoles that can mirror one another exactly — essential for mission-critical live global broadcast productions. Our new SSL S400 T console has recently handled the musical duties for Netflix’s brand new talent show, Building the Band.
As well as the SSL S500 in Spiritland ONE and our S400 de-rig desk, we also have a Yamaha Rivage PM7, QL1 and DM3, ensuring any size of show and channel input list can be catered for.
We are constantly working to vastly reduce the amount of equipment that needs to travel, reduce rig time and – crucially – reduce the number of potential points of failure for those live, critical moments.
Broadcast Video Flypack
Our broadcast flyback solutions allows for filming of up to 16 cameras with system or cinematic broadcast workflows.
The UHD, 12G, 4M/E switcher is capable of handling multiple inputs as well as VTs, EVS, graphics and much more. For cinematic, in-camera capture, each camera is supplied with a fibre transport system ensuring their own feed of timecode and sync, as well as program return and tally.
All of these kits are supplied with UPS redundant power, timecode and sync for cameras as a minimum.
We provide Riedel Bolero Production Comms as standard and have run large integrated systems of over 100 Boleros for Concert for the Ukraine, Sidemen FC live to YouTube, BBC ONE’s Big Night of Musicals and Christies Auction House Live sales.
A Little Life - Live to Cinema
The highly anticipated cinematic release of A Little Life is out now in cinemas across the UK. Spiritland Productions provided full camera and audio flypack facilities for capture, as well as the final audio dub in surround sound for cinema.
The West End Production of A Little Life, starring James Norton, was captured over three performances at London’s Savoy Theatre, directed by Nick Wickham and DoP Oliver Curtis.
