A Little Moore Conversation – Podcast

A Little Moore Conversation is a new podcast, bringing together dance music icons with old friends & collaborators from across the art and entertainment worlds. With the emphasis on bringing together like-minded musical legends with slightly left of centre leanings, Acetate’s podcast is about unique pairings and agenda-setting topics of conversation. The lead figure will always be a key figure from dance music: icons like Norman Cook, Pete Tong and The Black Madonna among them as well as key global artists like Cassy, Phantasy boss Erol Alkan and premiere leagues producers such as Stuart Price and Flood. They are often paired with people from the art, fashion and film worlds, or activists and collaborators close to their hearts – people who can spark ideas, debate and create great conversation. The podcast has been driven to the heart of the matter by Acetate’s Ralph Moore, a journalist, A&R and manager with over two decades of industry experience under his belt. It’s all about the road less travelled and the road to electronic enlightenment, with surprises and curveballs along the way.

Recorded, edited and mixed by Spiritland Productions.

Foodtalk Podcast

The FoodTalk Radio Show was founded by Sue Nelson, CEO of The Breakthrough Group, author of Foodtech UK and founder of TLA FoodTech and she presents alongside Ollie Lloyd, co-founder and CEO of Great British Chefs and Holly Shackleton, Editor of Speciality Food Magazine. The programme was launched in March 2016 to showcase food tech, food innovation and to promote artisan producers. Food and drink experts from around the country also discuss the latest trends in everything from distribution and delivery, to taste profiles and tech innovation.

There is a growing “foodtech” scene, where small producers are successfully gaining supermarket listings or delivering to retail/restaurant outlets and selling direct to consumers online. The FoodTalk Show wants to showcase these producers and the whole food tech infrastructure surrounding it, giving food innovators the profile and ‘airtime’ they deserve.

The show is recorded and edited at Spiritland Studio KX.

Lucie Jones – Live At The Adelphi

Spiritland Productions were thrilled to work once again with the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, this time producing the debut live album from Lucie Jones (X Factor, Eurovision, West End). We worked closely with the Adelphi Theatre and PA provider Autograph to ensure the best possible capture on the night using our fully redundant MADI derig recording kit, Digico SD Preamps, an SD7T and the best possible microphones from Neumann, DPA and AKG.  A Schoeps audience array was provided by Spiritland Productions and Lucie’s vocal was handled by a DPA 2028 capsule with Shure Axient RF.

Multitracks were then transferred to Spiritland One and over two days at our base in Lingfield we worked with Freddie Tapner (Conductor, LMTO) and Lucie making final edit decisions before Rich Andrews mixed the final tracks on our SSL System T S500 utilising outboard from Bricasti and Lexicon and monitoring courtesy of our Barefoot MicroMain27 loudspeakers.

Final mastering was also handled by Spiritland Productions with a Red Book Standard 44.1 master supplied as well as separate ‘Mastered for iTunes’ files.
